December 2008 - January, 2009
It is that wonderful time of the year. The great holidays at the end of
our calendar year are great family times.I trust that you had a wonderful
Thanksgiving and that you will enjoy the wonderful blessings of the Lord in the Christmas season..................................................................
Since the month of September, I have preached in three foreign countries
and six states here in the U.S. I was not able to go to Jamaica. My
family was concerned about my fatigued condition and asked me not to go.
I thought it would be wise to heed their counsel............................
God has been so good to us. We had wonderful meetings in Lyon, France,
and a great conference in Paris. Jeanne was able to accompany...
me on my trip to France. Thank the Lord for frequent flyer miles through which I was able to acquire her ticket.............................................
I have had a
deep concern for our nation the last few weeks. The future is filled with uncertainty. We need to pray for our nation and our...
newly elected leaders................................................................................................................................................................................
"I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions,
and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that
are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty." (1 Timothy 2:1,2, KJV)
We need to prepare our hearts and lives to face persecution
and adversity. However, these conditions
are fertile soil for a great revival. .....
Someone once said, “The church is secure in danger and endangered in security.” Another wise servant of the Lord said, “It is our duty to .
comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable."......................................................................................................................................
We must not relax during these turbulent times. We must trust in the Lord to provide for
us. We must pray for those who are losing their.....
jobs. Also, we must come to the aid of those who are in need. I believe that God wants to bless His people regardless of the economic or..
political conditions.
I pray that 2009 will be a great year for you and your
family. Pray for us as we seek to do the
Lord’s will and His work.
