We trust that you are doing well.  God is so good to all of us.  It is good to give thanks unto the Lord.

There are many things going on in our nation and the world that concern all of us.
  It seems that the government is intruding into more and more of our lives. 
Personal freedom and liberty is at stake. 
We need to pray for our national, state, and local leaders that their hearts will be open to the Lord,
and govern this nation according to the precepts of God’s Word.

The economy is in serious trouble worldwide.The threat of terrorism is ever present. War in the Middle East seems certain.
  Iran is very close to having nuclear weapons and threatens to use them on Israel.  Anti-Semitism is on the rise. 
Why is there such hatred of the Jews and Israel?  Revelation, chapter twelve tells us.  Satan is angry with Israel because Israel brought forth Christ (the Messiah).  He could not destroy Jesus, so he turns on that which produces and proclaims Jesus, Israel and the church. 

Jesus warned us of these turbulent times.  He told us when these things begin to happen to look up for our redemption is drawing nigh.

I was in Bulgaria in April on a mission’s trip.  I have plans for Ukraine, Norway, and Brazil this year.  Pray with me for the Lord’s will in my travels.

We are thankful to the Lord for our new grandson, Caden Scott Engelbrecht, who was born July 30.  He weighed 6 pounds and 4 ounces. 
Cara, our daughter, and Brad, her husband are the parents of this wonderful gift from God.
